ClipRaptor is operated under the ClipRaptor brand. For privacy questions or exercising your rights, use the contact page or the public email configured for the site.
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the ClipRaptor website, available on the configured production domain and in local development. ClipRaptor operates as an editorial comparison and referral site that sends users to external offers through affiliate links.
What data we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process browsing data such as visited pages, internal searches, category clicks, product clicks, and affiliate redirects. If you use admin authentication, we may process your email address, Supabase Auth account identifier, and session details. If you contact us through the form, we may process your name, email, company, website, message content, and technical browser details (user agent) used to prevent abuse.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this data to display the correct content, secure the admin area, measure category and product performance, track affiliate clicks, and respond to contact requests. Depending on the situation, the legal basis may be performance of a request initiated by you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, or applicable legal obligations.
Storage, providers, and transfers
The site is hosted on Vercel, while data and authentication are handled through Supabase; uploaded product images may be stored in Supabase Storage. For partner stores (EV King, Gshopper, Tagliapasta, Finbike), product images load from external CDNs (for example cdn.shopify.com or images2.productserve.com), which can see your browser IP address. Affiliate links to those partners are routed through the Awin network (Awin Ltd, United Kingdom), which processes click IDs and sets tracking cookies at redirect. All these providers publish their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. When you open an affiliate link, you are redirected to the final retailer (for example Amazon), which applies its own privacy and cookie policies.
Cookies and sessions
The site may use local storage and technical cookies to maintain sessions, preserve language preferences, and support admin authentication through Supabase.
Analytics and advertising
Our own analytics and Vercel Analytics only run if you accept optional cookies in the banner; they measure visited pages, searches, and affiliate clicks in aggregate, with no name, email, or stored IP address. Ads are served through Google AdSense, which may set advertising cookies; without your consent we request non-personalized ads only. See the Google and Vercel privacy policies for details.
Retention and your rights
Analytics data is deleted automatically after 12 months, contact form messages after at most 12 months, and the technical browser details attached to them after 90 days. You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection at any time via the contact page; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Consent for analytics and advertising
Essential cookies may be used to operate the site. Analytics, personalized advertising, or other optional technologies should only be enabled according to the consent choices available to the user.
Supervisory authority
If you are in the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country, without losing the right to contact us first for clarification.
