Electric scooters: Product comparison
A scooter must fit both the journey and the parts you carry it through. Surface quality, braking, folded size and charging access can matter more than an advertised top speed.

Choose for the way you use it
Short regular trips
Prioritise predictable braking, visible lighting and manageable weight. Check whether the tyres and ground clearance suit the actual streets on your route.
Uneven routes
Assess tyres, suspension, brakes and permitted load together. A larger motor does not remove the need to slow down for poor surfaces.
Mixed travel
Measure the folded scooter and check lifting points. Consider stairs, storage rules and charging access at both ends of the journey.
What to check
Motor
check rated output, braking system and the terrain you expect to ride. Peak output is not the same as sustained motor power.
Battery
compare capacity together with voltage, charging time and replacement options. Claimed range is not a guarantee for your weight, route or weather.
Speed
distinguish advertised top speed from your intended use. Check local requirements, tyre size, lights and the folded dimensions before ordering.
Examples from the catalog
These two catalog models illustrate a specification comparison. They are not a ranking of the whole market or recommendations for every use and budget.
Questions before buying
Will I get the advertised range?
Not necessarily. Weight, gradients, speed, weather and tyre pressure affect consumption. Look for clearly stated test conditions and keep a reserve for the return trip.
What if a specification is missing?
Do not treat a blank as zero or assume another variant’s feature applies. Open the product details, check the exact reference and ask the retailer for the missing information before deciding.

Storage: check usable space, memory-card support and the size of your photos, apps and videos. The operating system uses part of the advertised capacity.

Motor: compare the stated motor power, assistance system and intended terrain. A larger advertised wattage alone does not establish climbing ability or riding comfort.

Suction: compare declared pressure carefully; Pa alone does not measure cleaning performance. Brush design, airflow and the floor type also affect pickup.

Power: the advertised watts describe rated output under test conditions. Shade, orientation and temperature change real production; compare panel type and dimensions too.

Power: distinguish actual electrical consumption from an equivalent-watt marketing claim. More input power does not alone establish the useful light reaching the plants.
