Portable power stations

Choose battery power for camping, travel or selected appliances at home. Start with the energy your devices need, then compare continuous output, charging options and carrying weight.

Choose by use

Camping and small devices

For phones, lights and a laptop, list the daily Wh first. A smaller station can be easier to carry, but check USB-C power and how you will recharge it.

Longer trips

For a cooler or several days away, account for its duty cycle and allow a reserve. More battery capacity increases time between charges; it also changes size and portability.

Selected home appliances

List the appliances that must run together and check their startup requirements. A high battery capacity does not compensate for insufficient inverter output.

Questions and answers

Is 600 W the same as 600 Wh?

No. W describes power; Wh describes energy. A station can have a 600 W inverter and a 299 Wh battery, as the R600 does.

Can I calculate exact runtime from Wh?

Only a theoretical upper estimate. Runtime depends on the load, inverter losses, temperature and battery management. Measure your device’s consumption where possible.

Does a solar generator kit include panels?

Check the exact bundle. A power station and a station sold with solar panels may share a model name while including different accessories.
